Key Responsibilities (three or four bullet points):

• Work in partnership with Campaign Manager to develop, organize, and support a comprehensive campaign to build the Sustainer Circle.

• Work with staff and volunteers to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward Monthly Sustainer Circle donors.

• Become a knowledgeable advocate for MPFS and the work of ending local hunger. Engage donors in creative and active solutions.

• Work with staff and volunteers to create, assemble, and distribute electronic and paper correspondence.

• Proactively build relationships with community members and donors, promptly respond to all donor communications.

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of nonprofit fundraising experience or equivalent.

• Familiarity and understanding of fundraising cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship best practices.

• Experience and/or background with hunger, poverty and social service issues preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulately present the MPFS case for support to diverse groups and individuals and motivate audiences to effective action.
